You can really see how those old Grove ladders were so heavy…….

Certainly not a conventional color but those old WARDs do have a distinct look about them. EMERGENCY got them much exposure in the 1970’s.

It appears to me that at some point the body was rebuilt. Always loved the Ward LaFrance cab.
