Congrats to Palatine Rural & Wooddale on getting their referendums passed.
What a joke in Winfield!! I have said this many times before on this page–You are potentially putting people’s lives at risk because of not having adequate equipment, staffing & funding. Not right!

In other election news, Wood Dale voters passed the tax increase. Winfield voters again turned down the tax increase. Winfield’s tax increase would have allowed them to buy a new engine, hire more firefighters and re open station 32.

Glad it passed! I am sure both the Engine and Tanker need to and will now be replaced. I don’t know how long ago Ambulance 36 was replaced but that might need to be replaced soon! At least they will be getting a new Engine and tanker 36.
