Crabby, I don’t begrudge them….however, since you asked why i said my prior statement…they are a part-time department that could be full-time and potentially IAFF, but because 3/4s of the department are CFD members they never will. I also think that changing your numbering after closed CFD companies is stupid, have your own identity, but it guess that’s what happens when your Assistant Chief is CFD and the Chief is/was wannabe CFD…
Anyways, just my opinion.

DH why begrudge them? Perhaps unlike some other municipalities, they don’t mismanage when it comes to public safety. Hey, I live in Milwaukee so I know how the powers to be live to mismanage.

Solid! Evergreen Park has good taste! This is a beautiful and very functional engine! I have to admit, I like the black/red chevrons and the 888. EPFD should specify the EQ2B with the rumbler on their next engine.

Evergreen Park…Wannabe little CFD with more money and toys than they know what to do with…Squad 5, Engine 61, Engine 77…What’s next Engine 100? Truck 46?
