Maybe the frame will be okay with the new E-Coat that Pierce states they are putting on all their frame rails now. Unfortunately, there are still thousands of Biodegradable Pierce’s out there but hopefully this E-Coat resolves some of the horrible corrosion issues Pierce is known for.

You have to consider they use the ENFORCER for smaller aerials so this unit is obviously lighter so I think it will handle it just fine. Besides, it’s still better than a bread truck or school bus platform. Hopefully PIERCE’s rust problems are a thing of the past but time will tell.

Funny how the other Mike beat me to the criticism.

Will both of the new tower ladders be 2021 Pierce Velocity 100′ Midmount Ascendant Aerial Platform Trucks?

The two towers are expected to be delivered April/May.

Nice looking rig! Glad to hear they have two mid mount towers on the way!

There should be 2 mid mount Towers coming too. They should have been here last November. The Enforcer engines were barely in service when I retired. They went to Engine’s 23 and 36. The shop went without the TAK-4 system. I’m not completely sure why, I think it was expensive and hard to maintain.

I had no idea they were getting a new one. That really looks sharp and the ENFORCER seems to be a good fit for that use.

With such a long wheelbase, wouldn’t tandems in the rear be better support for the frame?

That poor frame. Long wheelbase and it’s a pierce. I can hear the frame rusting out already through the picture.
