There certainly isn’t a reduction of Seagrave nationwide. Seagrave will produce more rigs this year than they have in quite a few years.

Naw i mean nationwide I know Louisville is seagrave country. City i live in is all pierce doesn’t change my point. Portland maine had a problem with one of their ladders(Seagrave) , philly with their new ladders (pierce), covington(Seagrave), hoory county (Kme) etc..

Anthony if we’re not talking about Chicago area depts., then talk to (not too) guys from the Louisville, Ky area. If you’re not familiar with who drives what, that is Seagrave country. You may be talking to volunteers that may not be familiar with apparatus purchasing.

Seagrave’s biggest problem is not quality, its price. They are too damn expensive for most departments.

I was talking more nationwide @Tim Some volunteers i spoke too in youtube from pa comments were talking about it. Thea are they run in run mostly seagrave and pierce. Eone is taking all the orders it seems.

Anthony, this area hasn’t been popular with Seagrave for many years. Their sales coverage in the Chicago area was weak. Except for a splattering here and there, nobody was ever considering Seagrave so it’s not a quality issue. But recently Seagrave has been making a comeback.

Its really like that with all manufacturers now though just gotta hope you get a good truck and not a lemon. As the trucks get more modernized it seems the quality gets worse.

That has a 1250 tank? That’s excellent. Nice low hose bed too.

When will it be delivered? Will it be within the next month?
#13 by Daniel Hynd on June 13, 2019 - 6:43 PM
Correct, this has a 1250 gallon tank instead of the standard 750 gallon.
