Monee FPD firefighters responded about 4 a.m. Tuesday (4/30/19) to a horse stable near a riding arena in a rural area of Green Garden Township. The fire, located in the 27200 block of South 80th Avenue, destroyed a stable that was about 100 feet by 300 feet and about 15 horses died.
The blaze was upgraded to a 2nd alarm bringing 10 engines from neighboring districts. One firefighter was injured at the fire and was taken to Olympia Fields, where his condition was stabilized. The nature of the injury wasn’t released. No other injuries were reported.
The fire was extinguished by 10 a.m., and an investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.

WHAT IF THE HORSE BARN FIRE IN MONEE ILLINOIS ON APRIL 29 2019 WAS DELIBERATELY SET BY THE OWNER? EVERY HORSE (15 HORSES!!!) AND THE BEAUTIFUL DOG BURNED ALIVE BECAUSE SHE WANTED THE INSURANCE MONEY AND DID NOT WANT TO WORK ANY MORE.
WHO CAN INVESTIGATE THIS UNBELIEVABLE CRUELTY AND HATRED FOR BEAUTIFUL HELPLESS ANIMALS???
