Just a thought that Squad 7 might of gone out due to being ” special operations ” and have training in confined spaces like sewer systems…..just my thoughts for the day

Since Squad 7 was dispatched, the incident must have been west of Harlem. That is generally where Squad 7 goes on working fires and special duty runs outside of O’Hare.
Most likely the ‘Special Ducky’ incident was either in Truck 9, Truck 57, or Truck 55’s still district. Why couldn’t one of them handle it? I guess that a truck company is not a duck company. Squad 7 must have gone through special training to qualify as a duck company. That’s why the rigs are painted yellow so they could match the color of the ducklings. You know they have called the squad companies the crack units of the Chicago Fire Department. Well this squad must be the quack unit of the department.

That’s not a baseball glove. Those are their structural firefighting gloves.

Do they normally carry a baseball glove on the rig?
