It seems that Maywood has utilized Spartan chassis’ for a long time and as far as I know have served the city well. A nice new 100′ ladder by Spartan ERV, LTI, or Smeal on a Spartan chassis would be a nice fit for them.

Maywood doesn’t have much money these days. Wonder if they’ll even replace it. Twenty-one years old now. It probably has a crazy amount of hours on it. It should have been replaced quite some time ago. Now it’s worthless.

This truck has seen a lot, been on a lot of fires not only in Maywood, but the western suburbs! Hate to see it go!

Anyone know if Maywood plans to replace their aerial ladder? Sounds like this truck needs a lot of work.

This was the last Nova Quintec ladder built before they were bought out. Part have been a issue for along time.. This rig has seen a lot of work

Holy crap a stick shift? I didn’t think that was even available back in the late ’90’s.
Can’t imagine why they thought that was a good idea at the time.
