well josh I do take picture s of police cars fire rigs and plows and quite honestly blue lights and white on a fire rig stand out the most tradion does not matter to me red fire trucks are boring my favorite fire rigs are palm beach gardens fl stuart fl and mt Horeb wi fire rigs to me bells on a fire rig are useless costly and pointless while I want to see the new command van or 272 I am not in a hurry to go to Chicago

It’s because now we have a chief that oversees rig purchases who cares about tradition and the CFD. Under a previous DFC, he was ordering rigs with blue lights for an unknown reason. Now that has changed and tradition is making a comeback. Harry, if you prefer blue, you should be looking at cop cars. As for who is getting it, who knows. 2-7-5 probably has the most wear and tear due to their response district but we won’t know till it shows up at a firehouse

Yeah it does look like a bread truck but those seem to do the job.
Is that built on a FORD or FREIGHTLINER chassis?

When 272 received the new command van they were the only ones to receive one so this unit could go to 271 or 274 or 275

when 272 a few years ago got a new command van I thought 271 did too so that would make me think 274 or 275

It’s definitely green.

Good to see the green light back on instead of blue. Now hopefully it will carry over to the new apparatus orders.

Looks like an old milk truck.

Green. Not quite sure why the light package colors seem to keep changing. Went to blue on the buggies, then blue on the towers with green on the front, then blue on the last command van the the first six engines with only red on the front. Then the last seven engines were like the towers and now the new CV has red and green line days of old.
