Wheeling firefighters were called to 30 Schoenbeck Road Tuesday morning (2/27/18) for a reported house fire. The first arriving engine reported light smoke showing and went to investigate. They found a portion of the rear wood deck burning near the house. The fire was extinguished quickly without damage to the home.

Engine 23 is currently under refurbishment. Currently at Kards for body work. When it’s done, it will be fully red, striped like the rest of the fleet, and complete LED lighting package installed. Should be back in service sometime in April.

me too, support from the hosting company is lacking, if they can’t improve things we might have to move the site to another host … a time consuming thankless process

Kind of a nice change of pace, not seeing a single E-One or Pierce. That Rosenbauer tower looks like a beast.

Is Engine 23 getting repairs or refurbed? They’ve been using 23R for a while.
