Early Pierce Arrows were built on either Duplex or Oshkosh Chassis’s; only way to tell is to look inside the cab at the Chassis plate. Pierce built chassis started in 1981 or 82ish.

Very nice looking PIERCE there.
I thought that by the late 70’s PIERCE was building it’s own chassis.
