This was Chicago Ridge’s Mack/Pirsch ladder truck. I do not know the specs, so feel free to inform. Looks a lot like the Backdraft movie truck. Enjoy and comment.Mike Summa

I’m guessing the 1970 Mack/Pirsch 100′ like we had here; Trucks 5, 15, 22, and a few others. They had the chrome/aluminum front where the 1969’s like we had at Truck 16 had the painted front. 2 hard lines, a 200-gal booster tank with a 2-1/2 double female swivel to fill or maintain

My guess is it’s a mid-70’s vintage rig. 100′ main with manual pull-out (from compartments) stabilizer jacks, one per side. Elmhurst had a ’77 Mack/Pirsch very similar in design, except without a big pump and hose loads (it did have a small booster pump and tank- no hose reel- accessible from inside one of the compartments). Probably a nice 4- or 6-speed stick as well (at least when first delivered).
