Yes, John is/was my son who gave his all for the people of Illinois and whose murder on Nov. 10, 1986 left me, his family and co-workers with an emptiness that can’t ever be forgotten. And to top it off, his murderer, David Melind, left jail in 2002 and now lives in Franklin Park and works in Itasca. How’s that for our Justice system. Melind bragged about “offing a pig” in court. And 30 years to name this piece of road ? Please call your legislator and Governor so this can at least be done soon. Thanks to ALL to all of LE ; STAY SAFE. Kugie
