The Des Plaines ambo is really sharp. I like the painted steel wheels.

The new ambulance for Libertyville will be A461, the old A461 will be a reserve at station 1. A462 and A463 are keeping their current rigs. A460 is relocated to station 3 and A464 is being sold. Nothing yet on a new engine.

A 463 is a 2008 e350 medtec a 461 is a 2006 e350 medtec a 462 is a 2011 e350 medtec so lfd must have shifted some rigs around. Anyone know if they are getting a new engine soon?

I’m shocked that lfd is giving another new ambulance for a462 that must be a busy station. It’s good to see libertyville finally make the shift to f series chassis

Libertyville’s new a462 isn’t in service yet. The old a462 was at Condell in service dropping off patients. I suspect the “old” a462 is going to replace a461 which I think has a 2006 or 2007 Ford E450/MedTec. a463 looks a little bit newer than 461.

Bridgeview should be taking delivery of a new Wheeled Coach on a Ford F-450 chassis near the end of the month. It will replace the last leased unit, Ambulance 417 and will be nearly identical to the current 406.
