I thought based on the specs I remember reading they were the 450’s. Could have been mistaken.
Huge downgrade IMO. These guys will be toast in 2-3 years. Think of a has engine Type III WC ambo doing 7500 runs a year.

thanks Dennis, THATS JUST MY POINT !
Centered & sloped DOWN and AWAY FROM midline to the LOWER corners of the rig , NOT Centered & Sloped UP to the top corners of the rig.
Its NOT supposed to look like a big giant V, now is it ????
SORRY Everybody , I just wasnt able to get the photo (was busy working).

LOL. I wonder which rig was originally supposed to get this before 82’s rig was wrecked.

A BLS Rig? They might as well have lettered it for Yellow Taxi, because that’s all the ambulances have become.

Bill, I’m not sure what your talking about but the Chevron striping is required to start in the middle and point down and away. Here is the actual section:
” 15.9.3.2 At least 50 percent of the rear-facing vertical surfaces, visible from the rear of the apparatus, excluding any pump panel areas not covered by a door, shall be equipped with retro-reflective striping in a chevron pattern sloping downward and away from the centerline of the vehicle at an angle of 45 degrees. ”
Also what color was it?
” 15.9.3.2.1 Each strip in the chevron shall be a single color alternating between red and either yellow, fluorescent yellow, or fluorescent yellow-green.”
and lastly….does it really matter?

Is there a photo of the Chevron mistake?
#16 by Bill on February 5, 2014 - 10:28 PM
SAW this rig for the 1st time tonight, I GUESS NOBODY caught the rear Chevron striping on the diamond plate is UPSIDE DOWN ( pointing toward the MIDDLE of the rig vs leading around the rig) !!!!!!
