I stand corrected.I got the previous info from a book. Found some pics of 6-7-1/6-7-5 at a couple of 5-11s in 1977.

As near as I can find out,it was bought in 1975 as a spare aerial tractor,and converted in the mid eighties.

From what I know this rig was never used as a tractor for a tiller. It was bought in 1975 for this purpose but the shops installed the guns on the back instead and the rig was put in service as a deluge unit in 1976.

For some more trivia, was the MACK chasis that is 6-7-1 a former tractor for the tillers or bought as such? If so anyone know which Truck it came from?
