The fire on Broadway took place at 1500hrs on November 20, 1963 and went to a 3-11 from box 21824.
There were several extra alarms on Madison in 1954, but if I had to guess, it would be a 5-11 from box 424 at 0805 hrs on March 21, 1954. The address is 1224-28 W. Madison, and the fire eventually spread to 4 buildings.

There is a typographical error under the photo of the Fire on Broadway. The address should read 4570 North Broadway as that was the address of Mr Adams Restaurant as it was known back then. The fire was on the west side of Broadway on the south side of Wilson. That ornate white stone building is still there and the truck company in the background with the wooden aerial ladder up and the cab facing the camera was Truck 22 which was using a 1949 FWD.
