Over the next few weeks, Chicago Heights will be training with our newly acquired tower truck. Expect to see it in use as we manipulate it around town to more accurately assess its impact on our city. The truck was never delivered to BK it was sold while still being built. They audited the department and they determined it would be more cost affective to maintain the Pierce Tower for the foreseeable future

It is definitely a Sutphen. It was purchased by and delivered to the Bristol-Kendall Fire District in Yorkville, and they decided to get rid of it before it ever went into service.
