I agree, not having the CFD scramble on it is almost criminal.
And the font for the lettering above the cab and the rig number looks terrible. It should be bigger…and be like the font used in 2010, for example. (Look it up, if needed. I didn’t do any further research – and I don’t remember – so I don’t know when they stopped using that particular font.)

That;s a good question and I’ll bet that it could be that it’s because they have a new managment team that either overlooked it or doesn’t appreciate it.

I still want to know why the CFD “scramble” is not on these new ambulances

You can put Ambulance 39 on the new Ambulance list as well. Yesterday afternoon I had heard an CFD siren and as I looked out of the window I saw Ambulance 39 pulled into the parkling lot of my building however it was turning around to get out of the lot so apparently it was held when it got to my location. It seemed pretty curious to me as Ambulance 39 rarely gets as far east as where I live. In fact in terms of Ambulances due to my area it would probably be the 11 or 12th due based on distance. It turned out that Truck 25 was parked at the entrance to my building using a spare 2000 model E/one rig which I didn’t even hear and they apparently were holding them.
