I don’t know for sure, but their current truck has been OOS a decent amount lately. It does have a large amount of ground to cover as the first in truck, and chases the medic in district. I wouldn’t be surprised if it has high mileage and issues.

Hey Lisle, When your in a financial hole, stop digging !! Replacing a 10 year old Tower Ladder and financing 1,1 million dollars. This sounds like a great idea .

Wow on the price tag! I looked at the Pierce website and they do a nice job marketing this particular type of rig. I like the integrated ground pads. 1,000lb capacity when dry for a 5 section aerial is quite impressive. However, 5 sections adds to the maintenance.

They are replacing their 100ft Rear mount with a Mid mount. Will they be able to get the same amount of equipment on the new Mid mount as the current rear mount? They replaced the previous truck after 7 years. The previous truck was a 2004 Pierce Dash 100ft Tower. They replaced that with the 2011 Quint. Now they are going to replace the 2011 Quint with a 2021 Tower.
