Chief,
Are there plans to replace the truck anytime soon? And will the new engine go to engine 9? And the current engine 9 go to e-39? And the current e-39 will it be a reserve or will it be disposed of? Thank you in advance.

The PHFD has three ambulances, a 2006, 2007, and 2009. All are Med Tec on E-series cutaways. The 2006 and 2007 were rechassised with gasoline motors in 2017 and 2018. The 2009 is in reserve and at this time we have no immediate plans to rechassis it. Using an F-series chassis on these originally E-series vehicles is not possible, so I have been told.

We anticipate delivery in mid-November. WIll be all red (no white roof) and graphics similar to our two ambulances we rechassised and the Alexis tanker purchased in 2017.
