Thank you. Speaking of sharing fire chiefs Wood Dale shares Itasca fire chief.

What division is Bensenville now in?

Bensenville left Division 20, May 1st of this year. The TRT Truck has been moved but I can’t recall where it is now.

From Wood Dale’s Facebook page, it looks like they are running a Jump company at Station 68. The jump company is between the ambulance and the tender.

Rumor had it that Bensenville and Wood Dale were sharing resources. Since Wood Dale lost their truck, I am guessing Bensenville ran auto aid into Wood Dale with the truck. Since neither town has a truck, who will provide a truck if needed? Elk Grove, maybe Itasca?

Do they still have the Division 20 TRT Squad or did it move someplace else?

Ok so they lost the land 10 years ago, why did they purchase this truck in the first place if they knew there was a possibility they would have to sell it?
I am guessing they are going to run a engine, ambulance and BC out of station 107. At 108 I am guessing they have engine, squad, and ambulance?

The land the airport took happened 10 years ago. Way before this truck was bought. Also they got rid of the contract that was suppling them with 3 contract medics a shift; they now pay part time paramedics. that happened 4-5 years ago. so where is the money going?

I also read they are Sharing a Chief with Addison FPD…What happened to the old Chief and did he leave on his own?

Bensenville’s old Pierce tower was a 1998

Ok, was it a manned company or a jump company? Couldn’t they sell one of their older rigs? Don’t they have an 06 Pierce?

Budget problems. Bensenville lost a case in court to Chicago to prevent the expansion of O’Hare’s runways. A good chunk of their tax base was lost to Chicago as a result. This is what I have heard.

Ok, why are they selling a 3 year old ladder truck? I believe their previous tower lasted 17 years. Is it a budget issue or are they replacing it with another truck?
