From the SST Emergency Products Facebook page:

Yes, Sebastian – Hairy is my twin brother.
Jim – It cost more than I make in a year multiplied by a few.

The last engine was not a Fast Track and neither is the next one. Both will be built to Lockport’s spec.

Mike L,
Is the engine going to be another fastrack engine? What is the cost?

Imagine that…a 12 year old Pierce permanently out of service for rust. How much do you want to bet it’s rust on the torque box?
Rob – Yes, it’s a quint.

Will the 2008 pierce tower be refurbed and will the new seagrave tower be quint?

If I had Lockport’s money, I’d burn mine. Of course I’m jealous. Where I came from a 12 year old rig was just getting broken in. LOL

Mike L. answered the question I had as to what the status of the 2008 platform was. Looking forward to photos of the new rigs as they move through production.

Eng 3 is the youngest of the 3 Enforcers. It was originally delivered as Eng 5 along with the Tower Ladder in 2008. Engines 2 and 4 are 2007 models. Not sure where the new engine is going (either 3 or 4). The 2008 TL is OOS permanently due to rust issues and has been stripped.

My guess is engine 3 that is the older of the two. Engine 2 got the first Seagrave.

Wow lockport get way from pierce. It would be nice to see them switch to a all seagrave feet.
I wonder where new engine would go? I’m thinking 3 or 4 but I could be wrong.
