The Gary FD operated this 1950 American LaFrance 700 series pumper. It had a 1000-GPM pump and a 300-gallon booster tank.. It was originally assigned to Truck Company 5 in Glen Park and later to Engine Company 11 in Miller.

I guess it could be called a quad,since they operated it as a truck co.

I was going to say, “look at all the ladders o that thing” till I read the caption. I love the pre-connects home made on the running board. Obviously a no non-sense fire company ready to go to work. Thanks for posting, Wayne.
