This vehicle will be at station 1 and they will staff it if they have enough manpower according to their union guy on Facebook.

Is the body taller than Engine 102 and 103? Looks like a light tower on the top of the cab. Loooong wheelbase too!

Couldn’t agree more Crabby. Ever since St. Charles switched from yellow/green to this current design in the very late 90’s, the paint job has looked fantastic on their old Seagraves and Pierce apparatus.
CMK, Being they sold or will sell the squad, I would imagine this will run as an engine and squad. It looks like it has more compartments then the last couple they have bought. Either way it is a great addition to their fleet.

I am curious–Did St. Charles change their staffing? When I did my paramedic training there, several years ago now, they were only running Truck 101 out of the main station on every response & only ran the engine if they had enough guys. Seems very interesting that they would get this engine and only run it “part-time.”

Will this run as a squad as well. Can’t to see this rig on the streets and added to the site soon.

St Charles really has a nice color combo.
Very sharp rig.
