i heard a rumor that EP and Hometown’s squad were going to run tandem to mabas 22. 2 guys on EP’s Snorkel and 4 guys on hometowns squad, since they are on almost every box together in 22.

From what I’ve heard the response etc for this rig will be no different than the current SS3. Someone with closer knowledge of EPFD can confirm or deny.

This new articulating platform is totally different from Frankfort’s. Frankfort had a Snorkel built by Smeal/LTC. Evergreen Park’s is a Rosenbauer Cobra ACP-55 which is similar to, but not identical to, the Chicago squads.
As far as I know, att, EPFD will be running this same on in town and mutual aid on box alarms or higher in MABAS Divisions 21 and 22.

There’s been a lot going on inside of Evergreen Park’s station lately. Looks like they had a whole bunch of extra engines lined up between the ladder truck and the BC Buggy & Command Van.

Will it be run the same? In town and on mutual aid box cards?

Not the same thing Frankfort ordered. Of course it will work out.

Looks good! I hope it works out better for them than Frankfort’s snorkel did.

Looking good! Looks like it shouldn’t be too much longer till it is delivered to Evergreen Park.
