Not sure if the tower is a problem child but it does about 10-15 runs a day, mostly ems.

Thanks for the clarification guys. I knew the Tower was back at 1, but wasn’t aware of the other changes.

The Pierce engines are at Engine 5 and Engine 6. This will be Orland’s first ever true E-1 suppression company. Two commercial chassis with squad boxes dont count.

Which stations are the 2014 Pierce Impel Engines running out of now?

Why are they selling tower 1? Its not that old?
Or is it a problem child?

It’s replacing truck 4 stationed out of the Orland Hills firehouse. They moved the vehicles around a couple years ago so engines run of of stations 2,3,5,6 and trucks out of 1 and 4. They are still also trying to sell truck 7 and also taking offers on the Tower ladder at station #1. Current Truck 4 will go into reserve and they may order another tower ladder depending on if they sell the current one.

Looks like a Metro 100′ quint. I believe that this will be replacing Truck 6.
To my knowledge, this will be Orland’s third ever E-One. They had Squad 113, a 76 Ford C/E-One and a lime yellow Chevrolet/E-One mini squad in the 80’s.
