  Harry, Calumet City is a very busy fire department. They have 2 stations and run approx. 8,000 runs a year according to their website.

  that ladder does not look that old it appears maybe a 2006 and the engines don’t look that bad how many calls do they run it cant be more than 2000 I would guess either way it is always nice to get a new fire vehicle or ambulance

  Couldn’t come soon enough. The two front line engines currently in service are well worn and the crews are often in a spare piece while they are being serviced.
  maybe next year the truck will be replaced. It too is well used and down right now.
