I have been watching the new Towers go through the various stages of construction; but nothing thus far on the 135’ rear mount? Is it still in the works? Or is Chicago waiting for the bids to be posted? Any thoughts let me know. John.

Yes engine 68 Is back in service but I wonder about why it took so long. By the way I’m not to Shure how long T47 would be out… I always wonder how you can find updates of the rigs of them being out of service or in service.

Last I heard they were sending T 47 out to get redone with a new cab no time table though

Has CFD ordered more new engines and ladders? Engine 68 is back in service again. Are you positive Truck 47 will have a new cab installed on their rig

The bids aren’t due until July 10th. I would be surprised if they award a bid before October.
