Have to say that they look really rakish with all the markings. I was kinda curious about the lettering on the front of the rig as there’s not much space with the huge chromed mask (compared to the HMEs) and tight space between the windshield and the top of the cab but looks like they did the best they could.

Is it possible some sort of protective film was simply over the chevrons in the previous pics which altered the color?
Either way, glad they match.
Now… how will they function…?

Interesting that the chevrons were changed to a different shade of yellow on the squads. That’s a time consuming mistake to make.

Why are they putting “Co.” on these now? If the new rigs aren’t ugly enough they couldn’t just put Sqd 1 as the current ones are?

Does it matter? It’s just a piece of equipment with a purpose to service. It could be pink for all I care. As long as these last for years to come.
