Getting rid of Gibson and Strenzel was a “positive change”, and this keystone cop department still managed to get itself in more corruption trouble, first with another trustee, then with the most recent set of resigning chiefs. No matter what they do, it will be a long, long, loooooong time before they are taken seriously by anyone but themselves.

there is NO MORE “all belted” that was a thing from the old admin. things are going in the positive sense changes were made including but not limited to these new engines and getting a 3RD ambulance up and running for the district, Tri State Fire Protection District is a ISO Class 2 Dept, including The Village of Willow Springs passing a referendum to joing Tri-State FPD , The Tri-State Fire District has been providing fire and EMS services to the Village since October 2013 under a service agreement.

Tom:
As busy as Tri-State is, it’s not unreasonable for them to keep atleast one engine and two ambulances in reserve. It is definitely a good idea for keeping two extra ambulances since they are in the process of placing a third one in service.

I think we talked about Willow Springs still owning their old apparatus?
Seems like it should be sold as 4 pieces sitting around doesn’t make a lot of sense. Maybe keep an ambo or engine as reserve.

Sharp looking Engines. Interesting choice for one PUC and one traditional engine. Any idea what they will do with the 2005 Arrow XT that is currently at station 2? Will it be moved to station 3? Will it become a reserve?

Any idea why they’d go with one PUC and one traditional Enforcer on the same order? Seems like an odd choice.

Very nice and sharp looking in a more traditional way complete with those good old fashioned Q sirens. When I say sharp, I not only mean pleasing to the eye but also the more square shape with the ENFORCER. I do wonder though how those one piece windshields hold up over time.
