Now folks, this is something you don’t see to much anymore. That is a solid red apparatus(excluding the safety stripes on the rear). Beautiful rig regardless.

You make a good point about the new Engine, Mike. Apparently Wheeling likes their rear hose beds high. Other then that I really wonder what the advantage of rear hose beds that are built that high are? It would seem like somewhat of a strain leading out and then putting the hose back on such a high hose bed. Perhaps ,they are trying to run it as a tanker as well as an Engine?

Where was this engine built? North Dakota? How big is the tank?

It looks like a nice rig. It is weird to see it all red instead of white over red. The rear hose bed looks really tall too. Must have a bigger tank then the other engines. Can’t wait to see the pictures of the new tower ladder too.
