I came across this. I didn’t know that engine 1011 was being sold. Is this new Hinsdale Engine replacing 1011? I see that it says 1012. http://www.commandfireapparatus.com/listing/1997-spartan-1250750-rescue-pumper/

I lived in Hinsdale from 1990-1996. I kinda miss the godawful yellow- though these are MUCH better, aesthetically.

Where was this photo taken at? It looks like there is a Des Plaines engine in the background.

Yellow has bad resale value, they found that out when Hinsdale sold their tower ladder several years ago

We talked about the color transformation taking place with their rigs in earlier posts with their truck and ambo.
So long yellow!
