Today is the wake for FF/PM Tommy Sinclair from Oak Brook Fire Department. He previously served with Robert’s Park.
The wake is across the street from Station 2. They will have the light tower set up in an area for over flow cars to park.I had the opportunity to meet Tommy during my ride time years back. He was outstanding, made me feel welcomed and even taught me new things. God bless and rest easy Tommy.

The second McCook, IL Seagrave has been found. This 1982 Seagrave 1250/500, former Engine 1411, is for sale at a used car lot in Lake Villa. You may remember the 79′ is now owned by the Lake Forest Fire Department as a parade unit.

Robbins Full Still @ 3744 w 137th
Here are some shots from the Robbins full still Saturday afternoon. Fire was in a 1.5 sty frame, it started in the rear and traveled up the wall and into the attic.

Highland Park firefighters were called to 24245 St. Johns Avenue this afternoon by workers reporting fire in the insulation between the 2nd floor and the attic. The large,unoccupied two-story house was being remodeled at the time. First arriving companies encountered heavy smoke and upgrade the alarm to the Code 4 for the working fire. An aggressive stop contained the fire to the area of origin.
Mutual aid companies were Highwood Truck 37, Lake Forest Engine 412, Deerfield-Bannockburn Truck 20, and Northfields Truck 29. Highland Park units on the scene were both ambulances, all three engines, the chief and battalion chief.
