House fire in Hickory Hills 8-12-13

This from Drew Gresik:

Took in a Working Fire at 9150 S 87th Street in Hickory Hills. Got there well after the fire was out but got some nice rig shots. It appeared North Palos Engine 813 arrived first-in with Truck 31 from Roberts Park. Roberts Park Engine 31 was in reserve engine 3R, and Roberts Park Ambulance 32 was in reserve 3R. Here are a couple my shots. Thanks.

Larry Shapiro stopped by the Linclonshire-Riverwoods FPD to get photos of the new unit for Engine 52 which was scheduled to be put into service on Friday (8-2-13).

Some Morton Grove rigs … the old squad and the Pirsch quint … followed those rigs when they were brand new on my 2 wheeler bike … those were the days … Morton Grove Engine 5 Hendrickson E1 …
Summit’s old squad … I loved those old Gerstenschlager type units …
CFD H&L2 just after being vacated … no longer standing …

Evergreen Park house fire 6-9-13

Evergreen Park had a working fire yesterday @ 9337 s Trumbull. Engine 49 arrived onscene with smoke showing from the second floor. They made a quick knock while Truck 44 made the roof and vented. I got there about 45 into it. Here are a couple shots i took! Thanks Josh
