As seen around … Lyons

This from Jeff Braun, Jr.

The Lyons Fire Department was out in force on Fathers Day (6/19/16), as they were on standby at a local auto show. They brought out Engine Co. 1312, Medic 1314, and Division 10’s Mobile Ventilation Unit which was being used as a Cooling Station as the unit was set to DECON mode to help everyone cool off on this 95 degree day. Chief Nord’s vehicle, Car 1301, was also on hand with its hood open so that the public can see what the inside of a fire chief’s vehicle looks like. Thanks!

CFD goes interdivisional for ambulances during Blackhawks event

This morning, the Chicago Fire Department (MABAS Division 9) requested an ambulance strike team (10 ambulances and chief officers) through MABAS Division 3. Later, they upgraded to a 2nd Alarm for an additional strike team.

Images from the event should be updating throughout the day, but the following was distributed by CFD Media.
