The Huntley FPD in MABAS Division 5 has two new units coming early in 2013.
The first will be a Type I ambulance from Medtec on an IHC 4300 chassis to match Ambulance 953.
The second unit coming is a 103′ rear-mount Spartan ERV aerial. This will replace Quint 983 and will have a 2,000-GPM pump (rated at 1,500-GPM) and a 500-gallon water tank on a Spartan chassis with a Gladiator cab and Evolution trim package.
The Arlington Heights Fire Department has taken delivery of two new IHC 4300/Medtec ambulances. These are the first Type I ambulances in Arlington Heights.

Just put in service as 914 replaced 2004 McCoy Miller. Great website appreciate all your hard work !!
The Palos Heights Fire Protection District has been added to MABAS Division 19. This now completes all of Division 19 departments. Palos Heights has two stations with 22 career personnel covering 4.5 square miles. Each station has a jump company that will staff the engine or ambulance. The ambulance is staffed by two and the officer follows in 6408 or 6418.
Engines are from American LaFrance or Pierce, and the ambulances are either Medtec or Road Rescue. Palos Heights does not have an aerial unit. They also maintain a retire ambulance for their dive team.
The Lemont Fire Protection District in MABAS Division 10 has been added to the site. Karl Klotz and Larry Shapiro recently photographed the entire fleet and the four fire stations. Lemont runs two Crimson engines, one Ferrara rescue engine, and a Pierce quint. Each of the four stations has a Type I style ambulance featuring two Fords, a Navistar, and a Freightliner chassis with boxes by Medtec and McCoy Miller.
Station 1, which is their headquarters, also has an air trailer and the MABAS Division 10 Water Rescue and Recovery trailer.

Good morning,
Our new ambulance has been placed into service. “Medic 710” is a 2011 International Medtec that we purchased through Foster Coach Sales.
Matt Schumann submitted an image of Orland FPD Ambulance 1 that was missing from the site.
