Crystal Lake has purchased (2) Pierce Velocity PUC engines expected in 2028. They currently run with 2022 Rosenbauer Commander engines.Once the new engines arrive they will put (2) of the (3) Rosenbauer engines in reserve and get rid of the current (2) reserve engines.Crystal Lake also made this comment in the board minutes about their Rosenbauer engines.“Both current Rosenbauer units have spent several months out-of-service due to repairs and maintenance issues; they have yet to be repaired properly and we have had little response from Rosenbauer on repair options”
