Engine 705 in Crete Illinois is this early 1970’s Ward LaFrance.  Not many Wards are found in the south suburbs.

This is the Crete Fire Department’s 1949 Ward LaFrance.  I do not know the specs of it.  It’s a very rare manufacture in the Chicago area but Crete seemed to favor it.  Enjoy and feel free to comment.
