My son Chris and I arrived at the fire just before the first engine got water on the fire. The 2 1/2 inch hand line made a quick knock of the main fire. Job well done!
The Troy fire was a box alarm at 18600 S. RT 59.

From Chris Skrabel:
Followed truck company 9 from joliet to a large mansion-style house fire. Good knock by joliet, held to their working fire response.
From patch.com:
At 4:31 p.m., the Joliet Fire Department responded to 606 Rookery Lane for a structure fire. The first units arrived within 3 minutes of the call and were met with heavy smoke and fire coming from the two-story single family dwelling.
The building was unoccupied and under construction, and all workers were able to get out of the building. Multiple hose lines were used inside to extinguish fire on the second floor. Other crews performed water supply, search, ventilation, salvage and overhaul, safety, and support functions.
The fire was declared under control at 5:40 p.m.
Crews from stations 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 responded to the scene. There were no injuries to report.
Last September, that the Joliet City Council made 606 Rookery Lane a public nuisance

This from Eric Haak:
Here are some images taken early on during the Chicago Fire Department’s 2-11 Alarm this morning (6/9/19) at 62nd and Harlem. The fire quickly overtook several units and with companies being met by bad hydrants, the alarm was elevated to a still and box. What you can’t see from these pictures is that for each exterior unit, there was another unit that was only accessible from an interior hallway. With the fire progressing over the top of those exterior units and the roof being declared unstable, companies were forced into a defensive position. Squad 5A was positioned in the interior lot and aerial operations commenced with Tower Ladder 54 being set up on Harlem. Tower Ladder 39 was also set up but I’m not sure if they ever flowed water. The incident also led to some interesting situations like Engine 8 pumping at the corner of 61st and Harlem and a Summit engine supplying water to the Chicago incident.
