This from Chi-Town Fire Photos:

We took in the extra alarm fire early this week on the westside of Chicago. It was a food manufacturing warehouse and the first-in companies encountered heavy fire on their arrival. A lot of in-line pumping operations took place at this job which required many resources, which at the peak of the fire, made it to a 5-11 and 4 Specials. Twenty two engines, ten trucks including four tower ladders, Squad 2, plus a plethora of special equipment responded to this. We got to this about an hour into the fire.

Here are several shots from a 3-11 Alarm fire and EMS Plan 1 at 4344 N Winchester that occurred on 12/6/01. Featured are older apparatus, many of which were new at the time and are now gone or in reserve status. One shot features all three LTI tower ladders in near mint condition. Squad 2 and Tower 5 were less than a year old at the time.

Truck 29 found this job while returning from a nearby still and box, reportedly through the roof upon their arrival. By the time I took this in the truss roof had collapsed and it was basically over and done. Cold temps and a lot of snow on the ground. Many of the rigs were spare apparatus. All the images can be seen here:

2-11 Alarm fire in Chicago, 2-12-18

Chicago firefighters battled fire in a commercial building at 4749 W. Lake Street just after midnight Monday (2/12/18). The fire was discovered by Truck 29 while returning to quarters from a Still & Box Alarm fire. Flames had already engulfed the entire building and the alarm was eventually elevated to a 2-11. The building collapsed shortly after companies went to work. Two multi-versals along with elevated master streams from Tower Ladder 5, Tower Ladder 14, Squad 2A and Truck 29 were deployed. One member from the 5-11 Club Support Service Unit was injured after loosing his balance on a patch of ice and was transported to a hospital.

This from Chi-Town Fire Photos:

E95 landed @ 4131 w Carroll with a fire in a 2.5-sty frame. 95 had two lines lead out. Truck 26 and TL 14 both had mains to the roof. Companies had a quick knock on a first floor fire.

This from Steve Redick:

It was deja vu … the old Zenith industrial complex that has had several other fires including a still and box I took in a few months ago. Most of the fire appeared to be in the top floor and roof area and was really showing a lot of heavy smoke for a while. Little or no interior operations due to hazardous building conditions. Three towers, Snorkel, a few ladder pipes and a deck gun were used. It was right at sunset so the photos were all taken in rapidly changing lighting conditions. The video and all the images can be seen at my website here:
