Box Alarm in LaGrange Park 7-24-12

This from Josh Boyajian:

LaGrange Park had a box alarm this afternoon, it looked like they had a power line fall and caught a house and a garage across the street from each other on fire. There was mutual aid from all over including a new battalion buggy from Tri-State and Bellwood’s new tower ladder. I took a few pictures but all the fire was knocked.

The LaGange Patch wrote:

Box alarm in Troy 6-27-11

Jim Skrabel took in a Box Alarm this morning in Troy and submitted several images and this description:

The fire was at Auto-Masters, 724 Cottage, Shorewood, Illinois. The building was a one-story, 25×40 auto shop with a two-story house attached on the rear. Companies encountered heavy fire and smoke on arrival and used (3) 2 1/2″ lines and (1) 1 3/4″ line. It was a very quick knock down by Troy crews.
