My last post I’m incorrect. Orland orders rigs with 2 mobile radios installed at the factory. One radio is for the main Orland channel, second one is for fire ground.

They’re not done mounting equipment, radios, computers yet. They’re having a dedication for it today though.

I have been at Orland’s Training Center Campus all week, taking an ISFI/OSFM Class. Saw this new truck up close. It is very impressive! It was at their maintenance facility, so I am guessing it is not in service yet.

I didn’t know you get get a Velocity with a straight axle but if this is in fact true, that’s fantastic news! I honestly don’t know why anyone would opt for the TAK-4 with a heavy tower on top. The body roll is pretty rough!

Mike C I believe they ditched the Tak 4 on this rig. They had it on their last Pierce tower.
