Prospect Heights firefighters were dispatched to a one-car MVA Tuesday afternoon (6/4/19) in the express lanes of Palatine Road just west of Wolf Road. A new Cadillac SUV was precariously along the embankment after running through and getting stuck in a section of open curbing that was dug out for replacement. The driver was alone in the car and not complaining of injuries, but was unable to get out of the car. Firefighters assisted the occupant out of the car and was then evaluated by paramedics.
The new buggy for Prospect Heights Battalion 9, recently placed into service is seen in several photos.

I see Squad 9 in the background. How is it used? Is it only used for accidents?
