John Antkowski – I’m with you 100%. The E-One ladders blow away the Pierce ladders. The Ascendant class ladders bounce and twist all over the place. The E-One HR100 is a far superior ladder. Interestingly, Pierce’s marketing tactics pay off because the Ascendant is blowing away the E-One HR100 in sales. Anyone who knows fire apparatus know the Ascendant is pure trash.

Gentlemen, Thank you for your help. I enjoy keeping up with new apparatus deliveries and updates. I especially enjoy what Milwaukee and Chicago are buying. I also like following New York. It’s great to see Milwaukee back to a replacement program. And a return back to E/One for new Aerial apparatus. Although I spent most of my career on a Paramedic unit, I did climb a few ladders. I preferred the E/One versus the Pierce. To me, it was safer and it was a smoother transition from one section to another. Just saying.

Good Morning John. Looks like others with more info provided the answers. I only know what the FANDOM WIKI sites say unless the good people on her chime in. I’m wondering if there will be an expo this year. Last year as you may know they had a small but well done version at the FIRE BELL CLUB at the old E25 quarters. I keep checking so who knows?

Here are the company assignments:
Pierce Enforcers to Engines: 23.32 and 37
E-0ne Typhoons to Engine: 13.26 and 30.
Med units to Med 5 and 19
On another note Med-2 is running out of Engine 36. They run both Med-5 and Med-2 out of the house.
Med-18 went downtown to Engine 2.

Milwaukee has (6) new engines, (2) new meds, (2) new Battalion buggies and this compressed air that have arrived in the city.
New engine are 3 E-One and 3 Pierce, The 2 Meds are Frazer, The 2 battalion buggies are Chevy suburban

John, FSI released a sneak-peak video of the new E-One Engine 26 this afternoon on their Facebook page. I believe new trucks are in the works but no idea. As for reopening stations, I know there is talks about reopening stations – they’ve reopened Engine 17 and Engine 28 and added Med 2 (at Engine 2) within the last year – but where and when I have not heard.

Crabby what’s up? Any word from the department on opening shuttered firehouses? We know about new Engines from E/One. I also remember someone saying they also have Engines coming from Pierce? The new Bottle rig is sharp. When I retired the fleet of Aerial apparatus was looking pretty tired. I would hope that new Trucks would be in the works too. But you never know. Take care.

They call it the bottle rig over the MFD radio. look sharp.
I guess they flipped a coin to decide if the chassis would wear the CHEVROLET or INTERNATIONAL badge since it’s the same truck just different dealership networks. There is no GMC version which is odd. Oh well.
