The new HIT rigs will be 2 piece companies with the E-One Front Boxes and Freightliner 2nd pieces that are a modernized version of the current 5-1-1a, but these rigs haven’t been seen even in production yet so who knows when they’ll go in service.

If I am correct aren’t the Hazmat companies supposed to be in effect 2 piece companies as each Hazmat Company is supposed to be running with Haz Mat support unitz using a commercial chassis vehicle as the New E/One Hazmat Squads are smaller than the 2 ALF Giant Hazmat Squads?

Does anybody know how the two squad boxes are coming along? At the very least, they desperately need those two boxes. I am guessing the boxes will be complete either in June or July since they started production in February
