New truck for Stickney FD (more)

This from Chi-Town Fire Photos;

Here is a shot of Stickney Fire Department’s new Truck 1204. It’s a 2025 Pierce Enforcer, 107’ Ascendant PUC aerial. 1500-GPM with a 500-gallon water tank. Job #41088. Should be in service in about a month or so. This replaced a 1997 Spartan/3D/AI aerial ladder.

Here are some shots of the Gold Leaf application on Stickney’s new truck. Pretty cool process to watch. Graphics were applied by Widaman Sign in Berwyn.

  I share the same skepticism but without question, it is a sharp looking truck! I really admire the skill of lettering fire apparatus. It’s a talent I wish that I had!

  The big question is….will this be an ambulance chaser? If so, it’ll fall apart much sooner.

  I’m still skeptical about those single axle aerial’s but this one really has a sharp and no nonsense look.
