And keep in mind that one of their “new deliveries” a number of years ago was them remounting their original commercial cab engine onto a custom cab and chassis, so it’s not as though that one was an outright new purchase/replacement.

In a perfect world, departments should replace Ambulances every 5 years. I believe they do around 2000 runs or so a year. They are fairly busy given the huge swath of area they have to cover. I am sure Station 3 will help their response times to the middle part of their district.

Is it me or does this dept churn through apparatus fairly rapidly. New engine and 2 new ambos at the same time. I can’t imagine they are very busy for the amount of purchases they seem to have made in the last 10 years. I could be wrong , though.
