Tom, Oak Lawn desperately needs 2 new engines along with a real truck again. The Sheriff was a total idiot for trading in that well thought out and functional 110′ HR truck, which carried a large quantity of equipment that the former Squad had. Hopefully they can be back on track with a nice fleet again.

Another suburban rig for sale that is in excellent condition that can be repainted and pressed right in to service as a spare for Chicago

Rich…. It is 8 years old Not a few. It was also bought when the department relied more on paid on call members to man the squad not crews in the station 24 hours. That town has money.. They are by no means poor as they just bought a an ambulance, engine and truck in the last 2-3 years.

The second medic is M87. I believe it is kept at public works and then brought out to the station when callback personnel staff it, which happens pretty frequently.

Interesting, they are going to staff a 2nd Ambulance. What number will the 2nd Ambulance have? Will it be 87?

I always liked short wheelbase rigs like this but without that pump and water, their use is really limited.
