  So this new rig is supposed to be replacing Squad 55 which is in reality a Pumper/Squad to begin with. This will just be a redesignation as Squad 55 and and new Engine 55 are both “Pumper/Squads”.
  Since ” Squad 55″ is a only 2017 model E/One I would assume that the 2017 rig would become a spare rig.

  The Town of Long Grove did have plans to build a new fire station at 5159 Aptakisic (east of Route 83) which would be replacing the current station at 1165 Old Mc Henry Road. I am not sure if they have begun construction on the proposed New Station as of yet.
